AdventHealth Daytona Beach Names Jepson COO
AdventHealth Daytona Beach has named Robert Jepson as the new chief operating officer, according to a media release. Jepson, formerly the COO at White Oak Medical Center in Silver Spring, Maryland, assumed his new role on March 10. With more than three decades of experience in health care leadership, Jepson has been part of Adventist HealthCare since 1992.
“We are thrilled to welcome Robert to our team,” said David Weis, president and CEO of AdventHealth’s operations in East Volusia, Flager, and St. Johns counties, in the release. “He brings deep experience in hospital operations and a strong commitment to ensuring patients receive the best care possible. His leadership will be key as we continue to grow and serve our community.”
Jepson’s joins AdventHealth Daytona Beach at a time of a major expansion. The hospital is in the midst of a $220 million expansion project that will add 104 inpatient beds, four surgical suites, and more than 240,000 square feet of space to accommodate the area’s growing health care needs, the release states.
“AdventHealth has a strong reputation for exceptional, patient-centered care and I am honored to be part of this incredibly talented team,” Jepson said in the release. “As we continue to grow, I look forward to building on that legacy and expanding the ways we serve our community.”
