AdventHealth Donates Backpacks to Students

As students returned to the classroom, AdventHealth and team members donated nearly 1,300 backpacks filled with essential items such as paper, pencils, folders, and crayons to ensure local kids are fully prepared for the upcoming school year, according to a media release.

In partnership with various non-profit organizations, AdventHealth’s donated school supplies were distributed to area children in need throughout Flagler, Lake and Volusia counties.

“As we continue to address the needs within our communities, we are dedicated to creating healthier lives and brighter futures for all,” said Audrey Gregory, executive vice president and CEO of the AdventHealth East Florida Division, in the release. “Our mission drives us to go beyond traditional health care and make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.”
