BJ’s Wholesale Club & Miller’s Ale House Open in Palm Coast
Palm Coast residents are welcoming new shopping and dining options as the Cornerstone at Seminole Woods celebrates two grand openings that expand the city’s shopping and dining options. First, Miller’s Ale House celebrated the grand opening of its Palm Coast location on August 5th. The 7,202-square-foot standalone building marks Miller’s Ale House’s 113th location in the United States. The packed parking lot every day of the week shows the community’s response to the arrival.
Shortly after, on the morning of September 20th, 2024, BJ’s Wholesale Club opened its 245th Club in Palm Coast, making it the 38th Club in Florida. The new members-only store is 103,000 square feet and is also in the new retail center, Cornerstone at Seminole Woods. Residents can join the Club’s membership at $55 for a one-year membership or the Club+ Card Membership for $110 per one-year membership.
What do they have to offer?
BJ’s, a household name in most parts of the U.S., is a convenient one-stop shop famous for offering everyday essentials at an unmatched price. Members can find savings on fresh foods, produce, full-service deli items, fresh bakery goods, household essentials, home décor and pet supplies. The Club also features a 32-pump gas station available to members only. Members can save up to 25% off grocery store prices, combine savings using BJ’s coupons with manufacturers’ coupons, and fill up their gas tanks at low prices. The Club prides itself on convenient shopping options like in-club, curbside, in-club, same-day, and standard delivery from BJs.com. Members can also download the mobile app to access ExpressPay, which allows shoppers to scan products as they go to avoid the checkout line.
Miller’s Ale House is a Florida favorite, famous for its Zingers, hand-breaded chicken tenders with a plethora of specialty sauces. The restaurant is open seven days a week and offers daily specials. Miller’s is open late, with hours from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. These later hours give Palm Coast residents another option for a late-night food/drink place while also adding to the southern half of the city’s dining options.
Giving Back to Palm Coast
BJ’s has committed to donating unsold produce, meat, dairy, and other goods to the Feeding Northeast Florida food bank in Palm Coast on a weekly basis. For over 15 years, the Wholesale Club has partnered with Feeding America and the Feeding America network of food banks. Together, they have provided more than 125 million meals to local families. Aaron Meldofsky, Club Manager at Palm Coast BJ’s Wholesale Club, said, “We’re looking forward to taking care of families who depend on us in our community.”
The new establishments not only bring our residents a new place to eat, convenience, and savings on groceries and gas, but they also offer a variety of retail job opportunities. Miller’s new general manager, Sean Lovaas, said he received more than 1,400 applicants and hired 120 workers. The company employs 34,000 employees and has earned a “Great Place To Work” Certification.
What’s Next?
BJ’s Wholesale Club and Miller’s Ale House are great additions to Palm Coast. Residents have a new convenient place to shop that offers low prices and savings and a new place to eat whether it’s for lunch, dinner, or drinks. It doesn’t end there, another restaurant that’s coming soon to Cornerstone at Seminole Woods is LongHorn Steakhouse which is expected to open later this year. Palm Coast is excited to welcome these new businesses!
