Cheer and Dance Championships Returning to Daytona Beach

The NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship, produced by the National Cheerleaders Association and National Dance Alliance, comes to Daytona Beach April 10-13, according to a media release from the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Hundreds of teams from colleges and universities across the country and their families will attend the event scheduled to be held at the Ocean Center and Daytona Beach Bandshell. A record turnout is expected for the competition, which has called Daytona Beach home for the past 28 years, the release states.

The event follows Daytona Beach’s part in college basketball’s spring frenzy. The College Basketball Invitational is underway at the Ocean Center through March 27. The 16-team tournament features colleges from across the country.
