Did You Know Pumpkin Spice Season is Here Early?
The temperatures are still in the 90s and hurricane season is heating up, but autumn is in the air – at selected 7-Eleven stores.
Like the ever-earlier arrival of the holiday shopping season, consumers don’t have to wait any longer to satisfy their urge for pumpkin spice drinks, including the debut of the pumpkin spice Slurpee.
The Irving, Texas-based convenience store company announced plans to offer a range of pumpkin spice-flavored drinks beginning this month, well ahead of the official start of fall. The selections also include pumpkin spice cold brew, coffee and lattes, according to a media release.
“7-Eleven customers are huge pumpkin spice fans, so we’re always looking for reasons to bring out the pumpkins a bit early and delight customers with new creations,” said Dennis Phelps, Senior Vice President, Merchandising (Vault & Proprietary Beverages) at 7-Eleven, in the release. “In addition to our exciting pumpkin spice coffee offerings at stores nationwide, the introduction of the Pumpkin Spice Slurpee drink is a fun experiment for fans in some of our top Slurpee drink markets. This year, you don’t have to just be a coffee lover to get your pumpkin spice fix.”
