Did You Know Streaming Karaoke is Here?

Karaoke has been around for a while and even home karaoke machines have been available for some time. But with consumers already cutting the cord from cable television in favor of streaming services, it is no surprise that karaoke has jumped on that bandwagon.

Cineverse, a California entertainment company, recently launched a karaoke television app for smart TVs with additional distribution channels on the way.

“Although karaoke apps have been available for decades, nobody has truly optimized the karaoke experience to suit the capabilities of today’s smart TVs,” said Tony Huidor, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer of Cineverse, in a media release. “Music is a popular form of family entertainment, so it was important for to us to improve the home karaoke experience by utilizing the advanced technology available to us.”

The system also allows users to search the karaoke catalog using a QR code.
