Establishing Your Export Plan

Join us at the next Economic Development Council Quarterly Breakfast to hear about the opportunities and challenges of exporting your goods and services. This topic was chosen because you, our members, told us you wanted to find new ways to increase sales in 2023.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) says, “Two-thirds of the world’s purchasing power is in foreign countries.  Exporting helps businesses access new markets and consumers with small and medium-sized businesses accounting for $460 billion of the known export value in 2020. E-commerce has skyrocketed, providing even more opportunities to export goods and services but it requires a plan.”

The next EDC Breakfast will focus on establishing your export plan. Mr. Jorge Arce, Director and Senior Trade Specialist with the U.S. Commercial Service (U.S. Department of Commerce) in Jacksonville, and Mr. Viv Helwig, Owner and President of Vested Metals will present the opportunities and challenges of exporting your goods and services.
