We have been publishing the Greater Daytona Region Edition of EVOLVE since May 2016 becoming the premier business publication in Volusia County. When we launched EVOLVE, we were primarily a print publication. Today, we are a hybrid, providing digital and print versions of each issue, as well as additional content on our new website, evolvemagazinesflorida.com.

To provide greater value to our readers, we made the decision to expand our footprint to cover more markets. Working with our advertisers and content partners, we announced in July our intent to shift from focusing only on the Greater Daytona Region to publishing a First Coast Region Edition to include the Palm Coast Region.

Launching a publication is always a daunting task. This challenge was made easier by our First Coast Region Editorial Advisory Board (see page #3). Their input, guidance and patience were enormously beneficial. It was also a huge benefit to have the support of Flagler Health+ as our Print Sponsor for the St Augustine Region Edition, Advent Health Palm Coast as our Print Sponsor for the Palm Coast Region Edition and Halifax Health for the Greater Daytona Region Edition. They all share our passion for “shining a light on success in our region.” We look forward to deepening and expanding our partnerships in the years ahead.

Our theme for this inaugural issue of the First Coast Region is Tourism and Hospitality, a critical source of revenue and jobs in our region and in the state of Florida overall.
