Halifax Health/UF Health Open Deltona Cancer Facility

Cancer Center for Hope opened at Halifax Health | UF Health – Medical Center of Deltona earlier this month, according to a media release. This facility will offer comprehensive cancer care services to residents of West Volusia County, providing greater access to exceptional hematology and medical oncology care.

The facility will offer infusion therapy services along with office consultations for hematology and medical oncology on Mondays and Wednesdays. These services will be led by Dr. Cesar De Las Casas, a specialist in hematology and medical oncology, the release states.

“We are incredibly proud to expand our healthcare services on the west side of Volusia County, which started with our emergency department, urgent care, primary and pediatric care, rehabilitation, and now a full hospital,” said Halifax Health CEO Jeff Feasel in the release. “The opening and growth of our Halifax Health – Cancer Center for Hope signifies our commitment to providing exceptional care to all Volusia County residents and ensuring that the highest level of cancer care is accessible in our community.”
