Last Chance to Participate in Business Survey
St. Johns County and the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce have partnered to learn more about the current opportunities and challenges our local businesses are facing. The employment landscape in St. Johns County is robust, with an increasing number of job opportunities. As of April 2024, 148,104 people were employed in St. Johns County (SJC April 2024 Report) and the unemployment rate was only 2.9% (CSNEFL Employment Report April 2024). The county has witnessed significant growth in healthcare, education, professional services, technology, tourism, and manufacturing industries. Major employers include St. Johns County School District, UF Health St. Johns, Northrop Grumman, St. Johns County, PGA Tour, and St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
The survey aims better to understand our region’s current and future economic health as seen from a business owner’s and operator’s perspective. The survey will also identify gaps in our current workforce, issues with recruitment and retention, and where additional education and training is needed. Results from this data will be shared to assist in the development of services and programs that will support business needs in our community and provide our local educational institutions and policymakers with additional information data to support funding and expansion of curriculums.
We invite you to participate in this important survey by accessing the link below before it closes out on September 30. Your feedback and response are highly valued and will contribute to the comprehensive understanding of our local business landscape.
