Latest Volusia County Demographic Profiles Available

Each year, Volusia County Economic Development creates community demographic profiles for the 16 municipalities and the county to show the changing characteristics of communities. These profiles consist of the following metrics:

• 2010 & 2020 Census counts, 2024 estimates, and 2029 projected population figures
• Per capita income
• Average household income
• Average home value
• Education attainment
• Charts on population by age
• Civilian labor force by industry

Volusia County’s 2024 estimated population is 587,091, an increase of 6% from 2020. The projected 2029 population indicates an increase of 11% from 2020.
