Palm Coast Water Named Tops in Region
Palm Coast residents have something to be proud of every time they take a sip of water.
The city’s water was recently named “Best Tasting Drinking Water” in the Florida Section American Water Works Association’s Region II contest, according to a city media release.
In this annual contest, top utility departments from across northeast Florida submit water samples to be judged on taste, color, odor and clarity. “Palm Coast’s water stood out among fierce competitors, reaffirming the city’s commitment to delivering exceptional water quality to residents,” the release stated.
“Winning this award again is a huge honor and speaks volumes about the dedication of our utility team,” said Ryan Bellerive, water utility systems manager for the city, in the release. “Our team works tirelessly to ensure Palm Coast’s water not only meets but exceeds quality standards, and this recognition is proof of that commitment.”
Amanda Rees, Palm Coast’s Director of Utilities, added, “I couldn’t be prouder of our team. This award is a well-deserved recognition of the daily efforts our staff put in to maintain the highest standards in water quality. Knowing we’re providing the best-tasting water in the region is incredibly rewarding.”
