Patrick Harris Joins UF Health St. Johns

Patrick J. Harris, a board-certified family medicine physician, has joined UF Health St. Johns and is now caring for patients at UF Health Primary Care – Treaty Oaks, according to a media release. Harris’ clinical expertise spans the full scope of primary care with special emphasis on improving patient health using osteopathic medicine.

Harris’ primary care practice provides management and treatment of the full range of health conditions. He is an expert in skin surgeries — including benign and malignant skin lesion biopsy and removal — toenail surgeries and joint injections. He also provides care for cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, high cholesterol and heart arrhythmias; sports medicine and non-surgical musculoskeletal disorders; respiratory infections, flu and colds; and geriatric medicine to care for the unique medical, mental and psychosocial needs of senior patients, according to the release.

Harris earned his medical degree in osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale and completed his internship and residency in family practice at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Practice.
