How long have you or your organization been a member of the Chamber?

We opened our doors in November of 2021 and joined the Chamber in December of 2021.

How have you, or your organization benefited from membership in the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce?

The Chamber provides many opportunities to meet and network with local business owners. Whether attending a ribbon cutting or an awards ceremony, we are guaranteed to connect with the finest people in St. Johns County. The connections we’ve made have helped our family business prosper!

What career advice do you live by?

Consistency, Kindness, Patience and providing elevated customer service to our clients.

What are the biggest challenges facing St. Johns County today?

The excellent school system is what brought our family to St. Johns County in 2017.  The county is falling short in keeping up with the steady population growth. There are not enough brick and mortar buildings to house students, and they are unable to acquire and retain enough excellent teachers to serve the students.

How do you define success?

Success is striving each day to be better than you were the day before and having a servant’s heart with genuine empathy and care for others.

What past experiences or roles have led you to where you are today?

Mike and I have more than 60 years of public service experience. We truly believe working as a police officer and a teacher, respectively, have given us invaluable opportunities to learn and practice empathy and care.

What is a fun fact about you?

Mike and I are eager shark tooth hunters and beachcombers!
