VMA Honors Achievement at Annual Awards Banquet
The Volusia Manufacturers Association recognized the contributions and accomplishments of local manufacturing leaders at its 44th Annual Awards Banquet held on earlier this month at the Daytona Grande in Daytona Beach, according to a media releae. More than 105 industry professionals gathered to celebrate the award winners.
“The annual VMA Awards Banquet is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the remarkable individuals and companies that are driving innovation and excellence in our manufacturing community,” said Jessica Lovatt, President & CEO of VMA, in the release. “This year’s honorees exemplify the talent, dedication, and vision that are propelling the manufacturing sector forward in Volusia and Flagler Counties.”
The 2024 VMA Award winners are:
- Best Practice Award: Victor J. Nadeau, Thompson Pump and Manufacturing
- Operation Excellence Award: Jeremy Locy, Sparton
- Emerging Leader Award: Justin Kretschmar, Teledyne Marine
- Innovation Award: Ivonne Cotto, Sparton
- Jayne Fifer Women in Manufacturing Award: Michelle Mozena, Teledyne Marine; Valerie Garza, ByLight
- Karl Schiller Member of the Year Award: Norman Lane, Rotomation
- Lou Fifer Manufacturer Of The Year Award: Nikki Pullin, Teledyne Marine
- Manny Lifetime Achievement Award: Pete Von Lersner, B. Braun Medical, Inc.
- Pivot Award: Donnelly Bohan Scott Anderson, Sparton
- Social Responsibility Award: Cory McAndrew, By Light
- We Make It Here Award: Alexandra DiCairano, Sparton
In addition to the awards ceremony, VMA installed its 2025 board of directors.
