Adventure Project set to launch new season

For Amy Angelilli, founder and chief adventure officer of The Adventure Project, helping her clients find the laughter in life is all part of a day’s work. The Adventure Project kicks off its 2022-23 season on Aug. 30 at Limelight Theatre in St. Augustine with various levels of improv classes for adults as well as monthly improv shows.

”Improv’s benefits go way beyond the theater’s stage and positively impact life’s stage,” Angelilli said. “Improv enables us to be better versions of ourselves by increasing our emotional intelligence, enhancing our interpersonal and intra-personal skills and giving us tools for better empathy, active listening, creative thinking and collaboration.”

Originally from Philadelphia, Angelilli is a certified laughter yoga leader with 20 years of improv performing, teaching and facilitating experience and has led teambuilding and training sessions from corporations to conferences to colleges.

“Improv for Adults elevated our education program at Limelight Theatre to include programming for all ages,” said Kristin Pidcock, director of education for the St. Augustine venue.

The Adventure Project launched in 2016 offering improv classes and shows, interactive conference keynotes, corporate workshops, team building, laughter yoga sessions and more. For more information, go to www.adventure-project.com.
