Did You Know a Frankfurter is Returning to Frankfurt?

In a homecoming of sorts, Sensible Hot Dogs, a Canadian frankfurter maker, is now listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. While the frankfurter originated Frankfurt, Germany, where pork sausages similar to hot dogs in the 13th century, Sensible Hot Dogs is selling a 21st century version of the venerable wiener.

The company describes itself as “an innovative plant-based hot dog company focused on changing the playing field around America’s street food” and is currently traded on the NEO Exchange in Canada.

“We are excited to trade on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, offering our shareholders increased liquidity as well as enhancing our global visibility,” said CEO Shawn Balaghi. “We look forward to introducing Sensible Hot Dogs to European investors and having them with us on our journey forward.”
