Did You Know the Federal Reserve Wants Insurance Experts?

If you’re an insurance professional with expertise in insurance accounting, actuarial science, academia, insurance regulation or policyholder advocacy, the Federal Reserve Board wants to hear from you.

The Central Bank announced earlier this month it is looking to fill openings on its Insurance Policy Advisory Committee. The committee consists of 21 members serving three-year terms, and every year the Fed selects seven people to serve.

Interested individuals can submit a Statement of Interest to the Board through Oct. 2 and appointments will be announced later this year. Additional information about the selection process, including instructions about how to apply for IPAC membership, can be found in the Federal Register notice.

Those interested in an appointment to IPAC may send a statement of interest with full name, address, telephone number and email address to IPAC@frb.gov. or by regular mail to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Attn: Insurance Policy Advisory Committee, 20th Street and Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20551
