First Coast Rail Community Workshop

First Coast Commuter Rail is a proposed passenger rail service between downtown Jacksonville and downtown St. Augustine, with additional stops at Avenues Walk and Racetrack Road. Commuter rail presents an opportunity to meet continued population and employment growth, connect regional employment and activity centers, and enhance mobility and multimodal transportation options for the people of Northeast Florida. The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) First Coast Commuter Rail (FCCR) Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) project team is holding a community workshop to help us shape the station area plans and to gather your input on what is being proposed. The event will be held:

Wednesday, August 9, 2023
4:30 – 6:30pm
St. Augustine City Hall – Alcazar Room
75 King Street
St. Augustine, FL 32084

Note:
This meeting is not a drop-in open house. The presentation will start at 4:30pm and be followed by discussion and feedback opportunities.

During the workshop the project team will present the TOD station framework which includes station classification, potential modifications to circulation and road network, the open space network, and the mix of land uses at the proposed SR312, Palencia, and CR210 Stations. A breakout session will follow the presentation to gather input on your thoughts and ideas about development around the proposed TOD stations.
