Freedom Boat Club of Northeast Florida Honored

It was an award-winning year once again for Freedom Boat Club of Northeast Florida at the company’s annual franchise conference, the 2024 Freedom Forum. Freedom Boat Club of Northeast Florida, with locations in Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach and St. Augustine, took home top honors in four categories at the event in Southwest Florida. This year’s theme was “Rock of Ages” and was the largest Freedom Boat Club franchise conference with more than 425 attendees.
 
Freedom Boat Club Co-Owner Kevin Seelig was awarded the Technology Trendsetter of the Year Award which was handed out for the first time this year. Seelig received the award for his work with the Freedom Boat Club Technology Council created to help with technology-supported platforms for all Freedom Boat Club franchises.
 
“Kevin has helped guide the platforms that make it easier for our members to spend less time online and more time on the water,” said Lisa “The Boatanista” Almeida, co-owner of FBC of Northeast Florida. “We all thank him for his work and leadership. Kevin couldn’t be at the ceremony because he needed to stay in town for the arrival of his first baby! We are so excited to welcome his new little boater into the family.”
 
Also receiving awards this year was FBC of Northeast Florida Membership Director Bill Edinger who was named the Membership Executive of the Year for the third year in a row. For the second year in a row, Edinger took home the Sales Gold Executive Award given to the top 10 membership executives throughout Freedom Boat Club’s more than 380 franchises. In addition, the Northeast Florida franchise received the Sales Platinum Club Award.
