Flagler County Announces Community Survey

Flagler County officials are looking for feedback from residents with the launch of the county’s first “Flagler County Community Survey,” according to a media release.

“In the amount of time it takes to enjoy a cup of coffee, you can help impact our community,” said Deputy County Administrator Jorge Salinas in the release. “This survey is brief, confidential, and will play a pivotal role in crafting policies, enhancing services, and effectively addressing community needs. These include county public safety, growth management, public libraries, economic vitality, and more.”

The Flagler County Community Survey, open to all residents aged 18 and older, plays a pivotal role in the county’s commitment to community engagement and strategic planning. Residents are encouraged to invest about 15 minutes of their time to provide feedback on various aspects of Flagler County life, the release states.

“The data collected not only contributes to the ongoing Comprehensive Plan update, ‘Flagler 2050,’ but also serves as a benchmark for Flagler County against other communities that utilize similar surveys,” Salinas said in the release. “These insights are invaluable for informed strategic decision-making.”

The Flagler County Board of County Commissioners rely upon resident feedback to shape strategic-planning efforts and establish priorities for the coming months and years. The data gathered will play a pivotal role in crafting policies, enhancing services, and effectively addressing community needs, according to the release.

Residents can access the survey at https://polco.us/Flagler24OP. The survey will remain open until April 12. All responses will be treated confidentially by Flagler County’s vendor, solely for the purpose of improving the Flagler County community.
