With this issue, we complete our second full year publishing the First Coast Region Edition of EVOLVE Magazine. Over that period, we have much appreciated your response to our articles and content. Our goal is to “Shine a Light on Success,” especially business and economic success. Your response tells us we are on the right track.

As I said in that first issue in October 2021, we couldn’t achieve our collective goals without the Editorial Advisory Board. A huge thank you to the Board. Also, a special thank you to Flagler Health+ and our other partners, Hammock Beach Resort and Spa and St. Augustine Amphitheatre. I’d also like to welcome Maserati Alpha Romeo as the newest partner supporting our efforts.

The theme for that inaugural issue was Tourism and Hospitality. Given the importance of tourism to the First Coast Region it seems only appropriate to revisit the theme eight issues later.

This issue’s theme is Tourism and Leisure. It expands on our articles from October 2021 with a broader and more diverse view of tourism, such as agritourism, while our cover story is about JAXUSL’s professional soccer debut. Tourism is also critical to our state as well as the First Coast. We appreciate the TDC Directors and Dana Young, CEO of Visit Florida, for their contributions.

Lastly a welcome to Beverly Wolfe, our new Managing Editor for EVOLVE Magazine, First Coast and Greater Daytona Regions.
