Palm Coast’s Financial Reporting Earns Certificate of Achievement

The city of Palm Coast has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association for its 2022 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, according to a media release. Judged by an impartial panel, the report adheres to high standards, emphasizing a transparent “spirit of full disclosure” regarding the city’s financial position. 

This recognition is the highest in governmental accounting and financial reporting, symbolizing a significant accomplishment by the city and its management, the release states.

The Annual Audit, conducted in accordance with Florida Statute 218.39, includes an examination of internal controls. The report provides insights into the city’s financial reporting and compliance with government auditing standards. 

In addition, the City of Palm Coast is proud to share its 2024 annual budget book, accessible at palmcoast.gov/finance/budget-preparation. This document reflects the city’s commitment to financial transparency, encouraging residents to explore fiscal priorities, allocations, and plans for the upcoming year, according to the release.
