Chamber Leadership Class Meets with City Manager, County Administrator

L.E.A.D. Flagler Class #1 completed “Government Day,” marking the halfway point of the 10-month leadership program developed by members of the Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber. L.E.A.D Flagler participants began Government Day by meeting at the Palm Coast City Council Chambers and were welcomed by Palm Coast City Manager Denise Bevan. Ms. Bevan shared the city’s strategic action plan and attendees learned that government, in some ways, operates like a business.

Assistant City Manager Lauren Johnson and Chief of Staff Jason DeLorenzo also shared their insight on local government operations, community planning and more. Mr. DeLorenzo provided L.E.A.D. Flagler Class #1 with a behind-the-scenes tour of City Hall. Photos of the Palm Coast portion of Government Day are below, along with details on our visit to Flagler County Government:

Government Day continued for L.E.A.D. Flagler Class #1 as they visited the Flagler County Government Services Building and met with County Administrator Heidi Petito and Deputy County Administrator Jorge Salinas.
