The Daytona Beach Area CVB is hosting these listening sessions with area residents, sharing information on how the CVB markets the destination and the importance of the tourism industry in the community. Residents are encouraged to provide their input and learn how they can participate and get involved. A light lunch will be provided for attendees, the release states.

Space is limited to attend the Community Tourism Listening Sessions. Attendees should RSVP no later than Monday, Feb. 12 to info@daytonabeach.com or by calling 386- 255-0415, extension 110.

In addition to the Community Listening Sessions, the CVB is focused on two other ongoing community outreach programs. The Speakers Bureau is available to organizations who would like a CVB representative to speak to their group on the importance of tourism in the community and the different resources available for businesses as well as a question-and-answer session. The CVB has also reignited its Tourism Ambassador program and is building a team of dedicated individuals who will volunteer at events in the destination and serve as passionate and informed advocates for tourism in the area.
